Bérénice Marlohe
Bérénice Marlohe may not have been a name that you were familiar with until recently but as the new Bond girl she is the actress whose name is on everyone's lips.
The actress kicked off her acting career in acting back in 2007 and Skyfall marks the biggest project of her career to date.
Since starting her career she has worked predominantly in French TV working on shows such as Pas de secrets entre nous and Femmes de loi.
But through the early part of her career she struggled to land recurring roles and moved from project to project.
She made the move into TV movies in 2009 with Le temps est à l'orage and Le pigeon before going back to TV series.
In 2010 she landed her first recurring role in Équipe médicale d'urgence alongside Christian Vadim and Sophie Broustal.
But all that is about to change as she takes on the role of Sévérine in the twenty third Bond movie.
Skyfall marks her first credited role on the big screen, she made her debut earlier this year in Happiness Never Comes Alone.
Like many Bond girls before her Severine is both glamorous and strong and she works for the movie's villain Silva, played by Javier Bardem.
The movie sees Marlohe star alongside Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Judy Dench and Naomie Harris while Daniel Craig reprises the role of super spy James Bond.
Skyfall is the breakthrough role that Marlohe has been looking for and her star looks set to rise.
