In Aegan actor Ajith Kumar plays a tough commando (Special task force) protecting his motherland. His duty is to secure senior officers in public and during special operations.
One such task ends in a disaster followed by loosing his beloved officer and a family member. In order to fulfill his beloved person's last desire he goes on a mission to protect a family that is suppose to be his own.
There he must defend them from all dangers that might cost him his life. The story depicts a beautiful relationship between two brothers (Navdeep).
He also falls in love with a beautiful woman (Nayanthara). This is the life story of a commando on a personal mission to revive his relationships and to shield his country from the hands of terrorists.
