With a month to wait for his work visa for a job in America, law graduate Justin (Andrew Hawley) decides to return to Edinburgh, to visit his uncle and grandmother.
On arrival he is quickly roped into helping out on reception at the Paradise Sauna, the brothel owned by his larger-than-life Uncle Rab (Simon Weir).
Justin is pulled deeper and deeper into the dirty, dangerous world of the Paradise sauna until he is left with a very stark choice - stand up for what’s right and risk his American visa, or close his eyes and pretend it’s not happening.
Whatever happens, someone at the Paradise is going to receive a bloody good spanking…
Wayne Thallon’s semi-autobiographical dark comedy premiered at Edinburgh International Film Festival where it was not only awarded two Trailblazer awards, but was selected as the closing film for the ‘Best of the Fest’.
