With its gritty, reportage style, grime soundtrack and cast of local talent, the latest film from writer-director Penny Woolcock gives us a fascinating insight into the lives of gang members in the UK's second-largest city.
Flash (Dylan Duffus) receives a phone call from Angel (Yohance Watson), who tells him he's being released from prison early and wants the £500,000 he asked him to look after during his incarceration.
Needless to say, Flash doesn't have the money and has just 24 hours to find a way out of his fix before Angel arrives back in his hometown.
With the clock ticking, Flash's day quickly descends into chaos as he's forced to make a deal with the appropriately named Evil (Tobias Duncan) while being pursued by Angel, a rival gang, the police and three very angry ex-girlfriends.
