The final countdown has commenced DVLA Personalised Registrations has warned that anyone wishing to give a personalised registration as a Christmas present has only a matter of days to do so if they want the gift for the big day!
While personalised registrations can be bought all year round, Friday, December 14, is the last day in which the DVLA can guarantee .. Royal Mail permitting - to get the relevant paperwork mailed out in time for Christmas.
Personalised Registrations have become hugely popular presents and the DVLA would hate to have any disappointed customers .. hence why they are issuing this warning. Nothing to do with the vast income they receive from these plates perhaps?
Apparently there is a choice of around 30 million prefix or current style registrations available and prices starting from £250 all-inclusive, so the DVLA should have something to suit everyone.
Do motorists still crave for personalised plates these days? I thought they were old hat but obviously not. Personally I cannot think of a more worser present from the shear fact that everyone would know my plate, what car it is on and subsequently track every movement I make. So no sneaky visits to the beauty parlour in case my car is spotted outside and what a nightmare when you visit the doctors and nosy neighbour sees your car. âSaw you at the doctors are you all right?â
No leave me alone. And as for that secret liaison! No chance!
