The C-X75 is the evolution of 75 years of performance excellence culminating in a concept car that is at once beautiful, fast and sustainable.
Not only is the C-X75 capable of reaching 100kph (62mph) in 3.4 seconds from standstill, it will also not harm the environment as it creates zero emissions during urban use.
Following the unveiling at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, it understandably made headlines. And like many iconic Jaguars of the past, the C-X75 is shaped by aircraft-inspired technology such as the aluminium body and spaceframe chassis.
With CO2 emissions of just 28g/km, this concept car aims to raise the bar for supercars of the future.
Jaguar took inspiration from their racing heritage and married it with modern technology to create the imposing C-X75. It has recently been judged by a panel of luminaries from the worlds of design, fashion and luxury they deemed it worthy of winning the prestigious 2010/11 Louis Vuitton Classic Concept Award.
Watch as Ian Callum, head of Jaguar’s design team, introduces us to the super car of the future - the C-X75.
