Lövgren stated that her 2 brothers introduced her to many sports such as table tennis, golf and football. They used to go downhill skiing during winter and sailboat racing during summer. These activities made her become competitive and love challenges. While in school, she could play poker in the evening to get some money. When she started, she just liked the game and the rules, but when she started winning, she got more interested in poker and started putting lots of hours in training to improve. After finishing school, she decided to play the game full-time and break from studies.
Lövgren admires Vanessa Selbst, a 34-year-old successful poker play and the only woman who has reached the world's number one ranking on the GPI (Global Poker Index). Selbst has over 11.8 million dollars when it comes to live poker tournament earnings. She's a part of Team Pokerstars Pro, playing as V. Selbst.
Lövgren also admires the Canadian pro poker player Daniel Negreanu. Negreanu is of Romanian descent and has won 6 WSOP bracelets plus 2 WPT (World Poker Tour) championship titles. In 2014, the Global Poker Index recognised him as the greatest poker player of the decade. He's also the 2nd biggest live tournament winner of all time after accumulating more than 39,800,000 dollars in prize money. Lövgren likes the way he combines world-class poker with a positive attitude.
