Famed for his non-stop lifestyle, love of good foods and super‐cool fashion sense, Oliver Proudlock is used to living life in the fast lane and regularly looks for simple life hacks to complement his busy schedule.
Yet nothing could have prepared him for his most recent epic challenge of whipping up a delicious salmon taco dish when under pressure. And by under pressure, there a few things more hectic and high speed than the fairground waltzer.
Filmed at a funfair, Proudlock was challenged to take part in the seriously funny task by The Saucy Fish Co, whose latest research identifies that almost half of Brits are looking for simple life hacks to ease the pressures of cooking and juggling hectic evening routines.
The research, which surveyed 2000 UK consumers identified that 43% of Brits believe cooking is the number one task that detracts from free time, with over a quarter (28%), saying that the effort it takes to prepare a tasty meal often leads to them ordering takeaway to free up precious time.
With his hectic, go, go, go and always on lifestyle, Proudlock is a prime example of someone that favours life hacks. His under pressure challenge showcases how easy it is to whip up a delicious salmon taco dish.
Speaking about his challenge, Proudlock said, “I’m always on the go and cooking under pressure so my meals need to be quick, convenient and delicious. Taking on The Saucy Fish Co challenge made me appreciate how easy it can be to whip up a delicious salmon taco dish – if I can do it on the fairground waltzers, then you guys can definitely nail it in the kitchen at home. I’m pretty impressed with my efforts, the end result was incredible. And who doesn’t love Salmon tacos. Yeah baby!”
