As the weather begins to change to Autumn we cling to the idea of Summer, but Tommy Hilfiger, well, he creates it for us.
His Spring Summer 14 showcase, shown yesterday during New York Fashion Week was set in a room made to look like a beach, complete with sand dunes, a weathered wooden runway and lifeguard stations.
The collection was sporty and fun and featured plenty of neoprene and scuba-style zipper details. Even the trousers looked like the bottom half of wetsuits.
The designer called it 'Melrose to Malibu'.
It was a complete mix of summer brights, inlcuding teal and coral which was contrasted against navy and khaki and of course a tropical print.
This collection is wearable, comfortable and stylish.
Perfect for those California girls.
