Lera Leshchova’s designs are characterised by pure, clean lines with advanced edges. Supreme quality materials, a combination of unexpected textures, and meticulous attention to detail are apparent.
The idea for her latest collection was emphasised during a recent trip to the Zakarpatye region in Western Ukraine, in the regional museum a folk handmade rug impressed Lera. She mastered the technique of the count stitched and transformed it into runway designs.
What transpired was a collection of dresses and separates that incorporate a high degree of functionality, supreme quality materials, a combination of unexpected textured and meticulous attention to detail.
Grey and dark shades predominate in the collection where some bright colours highlight the eye-catching details and techniques. Experiments with a cut search for new solutions are the hallmark of Lera’s brand, LL.
Recognisable straight silhouette, strict lines of the day outfits smoothly outflow into form-fitting pieces of evening dresses.
