Something tells us these socks will soon be banished to the back of drawers and cupboards around the country even if they are one of the unlikely hot items of summer.
The Shanghai Lycra Tie Front Socks by Mini Socks feature ties all the way up your calf, leaving gaping holes at the front. These socks are also available in a lace version and a variety of colours including a not so discrete hot pink.
They masquerade as gladiator boots but are not for the lazy, imagine the faff involved in lacing them up in a morning. And they take annoying ankle sock lines to the extreme.
Between these socks and cut away swimsuits imagine the dodgy tan lines we’ll have given a bit of sunshine.
