Still looking for that perfect party dress? Panicking about what to wear over the Christmas period? Well we've found the perfect outfit for you, no matter what body shape you are.
FemaleFirst is on a mission to get everybody looking fantastic this Christmas, working the key winter trends but adapting them to your shape. Today we'll be dressing all the tall ladies out there...
If you are a tall lady, then congratulations! you can pull off most styles and trends with ease, so getting you in some stylish shape for Christmas should be an easy task.
Most tall ladies are classed as being 5ft 8 and over, so it's important you look to the high-street and their sections for Tall people, as you will find they fit and feel better- particularly trousers.
Wearing trousers with cuffs on the bottom of them help to truncate your legs, so this seasons peg trouser is perfect. Also wearing longer tops will help visually to shorten your legs.
Pinstripe prints as a rule tend to elongate your figure, so stay clear of them if you want to appear slightly shorter, and opt for horizontal stripes instead.
Mixing dark and light shades will work a treat for those with a tall figure, as it will draw attention to your best assets, while making you appear slightly shorter.
Lastly, just because you are tall, don't think you can't wear heels because there are many different styles of heels out there to suit you. Kitten heels are great because they are still low, but still feel like a party shoe, and if you do insist on wearing flats then this is the season to do it, as there are great styles out there on the high-street.
