Organic Shopper From M&S

Organic Shopper From M&S

Eco-fashion is stepping up a gear, with all the top high-street shops stocking organic options and eco-friendly alternatives. This is only good news, considering our battle to get people to support fair trade and help use less of the planet's resources.

We've picked up some eco-friendly options on the high-street for you to do your bit, while shopping- perfect!

PeopleTree
Dress, £55

We love this company, which has continued to grow over the past few years. People Tree fashion meets the Fair Trade principles set out by IFAT (International Fair Trade Association) to ensure they bring benefits to people and the planet. This includes steps such as growing cotton, weaving, dyeing, embroidery, stitching etc. helping alleviate poverty in the world's most marginalised communities. They stock basics, as well as high-end options, so there's something for everyone.

Marks and Spencer
Organic shopper, £2.50

M&S should be feeling pretty smug at the minute, having just won the Good Business Award for its animal welfare-friendly fashion policies for the fourth year running. M&S have a range of great eco-options including an organic ego-shopper, eco-clothes range, some eco-homewear and even some eco-wine!

Dorothy Perkins
T-shirt, £18

The high-street chain has also taken steps to embrace the organic movement, specialising in basic T-shirts from as little as £10. A must-buy we think.

Primark

Cotton Top, £4

Yes, shockingly enough Primark have an organic cotton range of clothing, priced from as little as £4. Considering that Primark was slammed for it's exploitation of sweatshops, which they claimed they knew nothing about, it's good to see the high-street favourite backing an eco-option.

Urban Outfitters

Nudie Elling T-shirt, £35

We love this Urban men's T-shirt! Yes, it's £35 but it is organic and will do for at least three trends- the boyfriend trend, the dark romance trend and the best trend of all- the eco-trend. Hunky man is not included.
