Mark Ronson is a fan of skinny cardigans

Like skinny jeans and tight T-shirts before them, nearly every guy now owns a cardigan and what's more think it's downright cool and fashionable to do so.

Are they right or just deluded? We're a bit undecided about this trend, because on some guys they look great and on others, well they look a tiny bit ridiculous.

We've also noticed a worrying trend of late as some blokes have been sporting grandad cardigans, with patterns and everything!

Most surprisingly it's the undisputed king of quirky cool, Johnny Depp who seems to have instigated this trend, but you ordinary men need to remember you are not, however much we may wish it, Johnny Depp!

Mark Ronson seems to be the leader of the skinny cardi brigade, with lots of Indie kids following suit to copy his look. While our very own homegrown delight, David Beckham seems to be the only man alive who can get away with a beige cropped cardigan, complete with tartan shirt- and still look hot.

Even funnyman James Corden has got in on the act recently by opting for a navy blue cardi for an awards ceremony. It could of worked, but then again he did choose to wear it with a lime green T-shirt.

Well ladies, you're the ones who have to look at your man in a cardi, so what do you think- rated or slated?
