The final walk at Marios Schwab
Marios Schwab closed his collection with a selection of beautiful gowns that I already cannot wait to see on the red carpet – hopefully they’ll be featured very soon.
The red velvet dress with side split, filled in with gold embellishment would look incredible on Jessica Chastain or Salma Hayek, a beauty who could most definitely fill the dress out.
For the AW13 collection Marios Schwab explored the visual art of script and it’s translation onto the body.
Playing with the concept of proportions, the collection parallels high with low cuts, capes frame the 
lines of the body contrasting ghostly shades of smoke and dove grey against rich oxblood and petrol blue.
Marios Schwab has reunited with Ancient Greek Sandals for a second season, bringing a modern Flemish inspired ballerina gladiator-style boots. Adorning sandals in printed burgundy and taupe python leather, modernising a classic from Schwab’s Greek heritage.
The ‘Billet Doux’ between shattered antique mirrored embellishments veiled upon soft textures, increase both the complexity and etherealness of the fabrics.
Swarovski crystals encase the garment and body working with each facet of the design, reflecting the exquisite attention to detail that defines Marios Schwab.
