We’ve barely entered in SS14 and yet the designers are already a step ahead with their Autumn/Winter 14 collections. At Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin, Marc Cain showcased his latest collection.
Nineties-style grunge combined with punk and biker details is the emphasis of the AW14 collection, enhanced with modern, feminine and luxurious elements.
Feathers, sheer material, embellishments and pearls all added a girly touch to the collection that will certainly inspire your Autumn/Winter wardrobe.
Once again the front row was studded with illustrious guests: Elizabeth Hurley, Barbara Schöneberger, Minu Barati-Fischer, Frauke Ludowig, Natalia Wörner, Mareile Höppner and Natalia Avelon were all impressed by the looks of the upcoming season.
“Fabulous! I really love the new collection! All is wearable, elegant, smart and perfect for every occasion. My favourite look is the long evening dress with backless cut-out and the “The End” embroidery”, said Elizabeth Hurley, who was fascinated by the modern style mix, expressing her enthusiasm to Karin Veit, Creative Director of Marc Cain, with plentiful praise.
“Today’s show has surpassed all expectations and with our performance we have sent out a clear signal of where the journey is headed: constantly and continuously onwards and upwards.
"Both our customers and the press have expressed major enthusiasm and we are confidently looking towards a successful autumn/winter 2014 season – which we have already got off to a very successful start!” said Helmut Schlotterer, Chairman of the Management Board and the founder and owner of Marc Cain.
