Tom Cruise, Daniel Craig and Marc Jacobs are all reportedly fans of them, so does that make man heels fashionable, or just a style experiment that should never ever have existed in the first place?
There's no denying that men are far more concerned with looking pretty nowadays, and this latest introduction of man heels to the world just seems to be the next phase of them turning into women.
This is in addition, of course to men's make-up, straighteners, beauty products and skirts, which have already made their debut and are now widely accepted.
Crazily enough, man heels may well catch on, especially with Hollywood A-listers sporting the shoes to give them extra inches,(no jokes please) we may well see them hitting the high-street soon.
We blame those crazy cats in the fashion world, who first introduced the idea to polite society. Dior showed soaring 6.5-centimetre stacked heels for autumn/winter '07-'08 and ever since then the trend has grown.
Daniel Craig, in all fairness to him, had to wear stacked heels for Quantum of Solace when leading lady Gemma Arterton was in fact taller than him in most scenes.
Rather manly of him, he donned the shoes without complaint and got on with the job. He is James Bond after all, so anything he does/says/wears is ultimately considered sexy as hell.
Those who sported the shoes in the name of vanity however, don't get the seal of approval in our opinion.
Could you really imagine your boyfriend wearing heels to look as tall as all the other boys?! No, thought not. But what do you think of man heels in general-do you rate or slate them?
