Autumn/winter is upon us and now we can see how those wonderful creations from the catwalks of February have translated onto the high street in time for a whole new season of fashion.
Henry Holland gave us a tartan explosion for his London Fashion Week show so the Female First fashion team show you how to recreate this great look modelled on the catwalk by the beautiful Agyness Deyn- all for a high street budget.
The key piece in this outfit- and in most of House of Holland's collection- was a tartan mini skirt. This mini kilt from River Island is almost identical and a steal at £29.99.

The matching skirt and blazer is perhaps a bit of a tartan overload for an everyday look so we've toned down the look with a simple black blazer.

House of Holland rocked up the look with a cool logo tshirt. Rock tshirts work fabulously with the tartan look for a trendy mix of heritage and contemporary.

Holland also funked up this look with some grungy lace up boots. These ones from Schuh have a small heel rather than being totally flat and help you keep a look of feminity.
