Harlequin
Harelquin is emerging as one of the hottest colour statements of winter 08/09 with bright diamond prints set to take over the high street and our wardrobes.
Harlequin refers to a character from the traditional Italian Commedia dell'Arte theatre genre and is most known for his brightly coloured costumes.
Today the Harlequin look has been adapted to gorgoues multicoloured handbags, cool printed tops and striking diamond tights.
The key to working harlequin without looking like you've just escape from the circus is to keep it to a minimum- ie a mulitcoloured diamond jumpsuit is probably going to be too much.
