This summer sees the return of the dip/tie dye trend with splashes of colour brightening up our seasonal wardrobes.
There were lots of bright colours and different dying techniques on the catwalk in the September fashion weeks with the likes of Chloe, Christian Lacroix and Richard Nicol giving us tie dye in there spring/summer 2008 collection.

High street stores are on the ball with this trend and many are stocking lots of bright tie dyed hippy dresses and tshirts already.
This loook is great to make a fun bold statement in the daytime by teaming a funky dip tye tshirt with some shorts or throwing on a baggy hippy chic tye die dress with a flip flops and an oversized sun hat.
It's also fab for the evening too. Toning down bright colours is easy with dip dying becuase a splash of bold summery magenta pink or sky blue can be faded into a more elegant plum or navy tone.
If you fancy getting your own unique tie dyed creation then when not have a go at doing it yourself? Just buy a plain tshirt or dress- or anything else you fancy and get dying.
