Gossip Girl Blair is a fan of corsage headbands
When they've been spotted on the cast of Gossip Girl, not to mention on the likes of Leona Lewis and Lauren Conrad, you can't ignore a new trend any longer.
Step forward corsage headbands- the epitome of sophisticated cool or just a big flower on your head? Well, the fashion elite seem to be favouring anything crazy with headwear at the moment, so perhaps this will catch on.
Hair embellishments in general were forecasted as big news for spring/summer 09, so perhaps this is just the start.
Lady GaGa is certainly rocking the OTT hair to the max at the moment, and if people follow her lead, flower headbands could soon be considered tame in comparison.
The lovely ladies who have been papped working these headbands have kept it classy in either black and white, but we have a hunch that they'll soon be gracing the high-street in bright neon colours too.
We thought we'd left headbands, along with our schooldays behind but apparently the fashion world has other ideas, and anyone who's anyone will be wearing a corsage this summer.
