Last night, the nation saw plenty of gowns with high slits, as well as low cut dresses on the red carpet of The BRITs 2019, but which celebrities did we think were the best and worst dressed at this year's event?
The best dressed
Jesy Nelson: Yes, we had all four Little Mix members on the red carpet last night but Jesy’s dress was the best of all. Sheer and nude with black floral lace, the piece was pinched in to show her waist. It was of course very different from her outfit worn in their performance last night, which was the most revealing of them all! Jesy has been open about her struggles with her own appearance ever since appearing on The X Factor, but she is killing it lately.
Abbey Clancy: Abbey Clancy and her bump looked incredible in a long sparkly gown with a thigh split as she posed cradling her stomach. Most of us struggle in heels at the best of times, but Abbey owned the red carpet in heels while carrying, managing to show off her amazing long legs as she went. How does she do it?
Winnie Harlow: From Milan to London, Winnie had been walking shows all morning for Milan Fashion Week before joining everyone on the red carpet yesterday and she looked incredible. In a long floral gown with a corset style top and matching head scarf, she wowed the public before changing into something a bit shorter to join Sam Smith on stage for his performance with Calvin Harris.
Anne-Marie: Whilst her white dress might have looked simple, Anne-Marie paired it with an unusually large ruffled coat and she looked stunning. Unfortunately she didn’t take home an award last night, but she's welcome to a spot on our best dressed list!
Madison Beer: Wearing a sheer strapless dress, Madison definitely turned heads last night as she looked incredible, natural and relaxed. Similarly, Love Island star Montanna Brown wore a sheer number as she walked the red carpet. Will we see similar dresses of the same style next year?
The worst dressed
Laura Whitmore: She definitely went for something different in a blazer dress with a ruffled hem but this time it might not have paid off.
Paloma Faith: We’re used to Paloma not sticking to the norm so it’s no surprise that her dress turned heads, but not necessarily in a good way. She changed after the red carpet before presenting an award into an even crazier outfit. We salute her bravery.
Tallia Storm: The singer wore a long pink dress last night and she looked beautiful, but the outfit wasn’t as easy on the eye with all the colour and patterns involved.
Laura Jackson: The pregnant TV presenter was glowing on the red carpet but her dress didn’t seem to match. The big puffy number overshadowed her huge smile.
Lilah Parsons: Although the presenter looked stunning last night, her dress was a bit of an eyesore, but it definitely caught our attention!
