We predicted a while ago that fringing on clothes would be a huge trend for spring/summer 09, well now in addition to this we will now be championing the Western trend too.
Last year we has stars and stripes leading the way forward for the summer, with Americana playing a lead role in what we were wearing. This new trend is almost like an incarnation of that, only with a more western influence.
Think denim shirts teamed with a fringed skirt or cowboy boots worn with a floral dress and you'll be on the right track. Glastonbury is usually where the celebs work this look best, and weeks later we'll be sporting the look too.
Remember Pixie Geldof's denim shirt and aviator combination last year? Well use that as your basis for this year and update your look to include a waistcoat and fringed bag.
