As a St Martins graduate, you’d expect her to be a dab hand at the whole designing thing( you can’t fool us!) but you have to take your straw boater hat( big for spring 2010 by the way) off to this up and comer.
Whispers are already being bellowed from the fashion rooftops and anyone who is anyone is getting a little bit excited for Hermoine’s new-season collection which is set to cause a beautiful storm come September.
Her work is recognised for its luxurious signature style, but really packs a punch with "a fierce fascination with artificial beauty and forced femininity."
Her works of art, which tye really are, gives of the illusion of almost nakedness, which is our fave type of nakedness! Her ability to cater to a female body is truly magic and her seamless creations simply disappear into the female body.
Her work aims to creat a balance between femininity, fantasy and tongue-in-cheek humour. Which sounds perfect to us!
Each collection Hermoine creates, is centered upon the inspiration of an unconventional female character, and with this, each piece promises to carry with it a sensual magnetism. Amazing.
Here at female first, we are ridiculously excited to see what Hermoine De Paula is going to throw at us, her pieces scream ballsy romanticism, and we like that, we like it alot.
