Scalloping at Chloe Summer 09
Add a feminine feel to your outfit this spring by taking inspiration from Chloe and Christopher Kane and the scalloped edges on their catwalk outfits.
Forget ruffled necklines and sleeves, scalloped detail is the trend to look out for now. It looks great along dress hems adding something a bit different to the look or for a real impact go for scalloping down trouser and jacket seams.
This needn't be an expensive trend to follow either, if your particularly nifty with a sewing machine you can turn it into a DIY look.
Sew lengths of scalloped fabric onto dress hems or the bottom of sleeves. Don't try and match the original colour though, go for a darker shade or complimentary colour to give the look real impact.
