Cameron Diaz dazzles in pink Chanel
Colour is big news this season and following in the footsteps of purple, tomato red and yellow comes hot pink, courtesy of designers including Matthew Williamson and Lanvin.
Cameron Diaz looked stunning in the pink gown she wore to the Golden Globe awards last week. She showed that the colour can look sophisticated and not like something from a 6 year old's wardrobe in this floor length Chanel gown.
If further proof was needed that pink was the colour to be seen in look to Cheryl Cole. The Girls ALoud and X Factor star is the fashion icon of the moment right now and the geordie lovely picked pink for not one but two of her X Factor live show outfits. These included an off the shoulder prom dress and a gorgeous strapless Matthew Williamson dress with beaded pockets.
The colour is not confined to dresses as models at Lanvin strutted down the catwalk in metallic hot pink trouser suits.
This Miss Selfridge dress, £45 is about as hot as pink gets! The colour really pops and it greats a great hour glass shape, nipping you in at the waist and pushing your boobs up. Wear with killer heels to ensure all eyes are on you.
If you want to try the pink trend but full on colour is not your thing hit Topshop. The pink trim on this skirt, £28 lets you dip your toe into the trend without going overboard. It will look great day or night worn with a simple vest and dressed up with jewellery.
