We all winced in pain when we saw Victoria Beckham and Anne Hathaway tottering about in these super high shoes but we're sure we weren't the only ones that admired the unique design of the sharp silver metal heels of the shoe. This pair are by Canadian designer DSquared2 but they are not the only label choosing to concentrate on the heels when it comes to shoes.
Christian Louboutin kick started the trend for paying attention to heels with his red soled shoes but more and more designers are showcasing shoes with unique heel designs.
Dior included these red heels in their latest collection which feature mirrored panels down the side of the thick heels.
DSquared2 don't just make pin point metal heels, their collection also includes these 'Flash 2 Open Toe Pumps' with a unique lightening bolt shaped heel. Definitely not ones for those who struggle to keep their balance in regular heels but if you can negotiate these on a pavement you'll earn instant style brownie points!
Kurt Geiger has also experimented with heel shapes. Their Espula shoes feature balloon shaped heels and the Begonia heels come decorated with diamante.
It's not just designers and celebrities getting showing off pretty heels, the high street is getting in on the action too.
If you want a piece of the action, ASOS have these Kurt Keiger inspired heels with jewelled heels for just £50.
