Trench coats at Dries Van Noten
As nights are getting ever so slightly darker it's time to pick up a transitional coat that will take you from winter to spring and we've found the perfect style, a brightly coloured trench coat.
A trench coat is a classic style loved by celebrities such as Victoria Beckham and Anne Hathaway and by going against the grain and picking pink, blue or purple instead of traditional brown or black the trend gets a fresh twist for Spring.
Take inspiration from Dries Van Noten, who used bright yellow trenches in his Spring/Summer shows, and wear your coloured trench with simpler colours to really make it pop.
This red trench, just £30 from New Look, will go with pretty much any outfit. Red is the perfect colour to suit everyone and the skirted bottom will flatter all figures.
For something a bit more discreet go for a pale shade like this peach trench, £65 from Topshop. The light colour and floral lining makes it perfect for Spring.
If you want colour but in a darker shade try this teal coat, £60 Miss Selfridge. It will still add a pop of colour to any outfit but isn't as in your face as the more girly shades.
