Fendi's Spring 2009 Collection

Fendi's Spring 2009 Collection

If like us you often struggle to decide which colour shoes to go for, well your troubles are over as colour block heels are the latest trend in footwear.

There is no need wasting time now as you try to decide between black or gold heels as mixing two or three colours on your shoes is the way forward.

Fendi and DKNY worked this trend on the runway and the ever-stylish actress turned designer Rachel Bilson has been snapped strutting her stuff in a pair of orange and white strappy heels.

Fendi complimented black, red or white panels on the heels with black lines.

This trend is a great way to inject some bright colour into the outfit, go for heels with black in them to keep it pared down. Get the best effect with patent heels.

Steve Madden has mixed pink and purple panels in these sandals, £79 to make them the perfect spring shoes. For an even brighter foot try this Topshop pair, £65. The black panels stop the orange from looking too garish.

Left to right: Steve Madden heels, £79; Topshop heels, £65; Miss Selfridge heels, £35.

Finally for a classic look get these Miss Selfridge Mary Janes, £35. These are great for formal occasions and the navy colour is a bit more exciting than regular black and white.
