Birds have replaced flowers as the print to be seen in this season.
Flowers have been the print of choice ever since summer, they lasted well into the autumn winter season but now designers have decided it is time for a change and it seems the celebrities agree with Kylie Minogue, Juliette Lewis, Liv Tyler and Sophie Ellis-Bextor all been snapped in bird print outfits.
Roberto Cavalli's high street line Just Cavalli showed his retro inspired collection full of bird motifs, such a s this flamingo print patterned suit. We're not too keen on the overall look but the top on its own will look great with skinny jeans.
There were also flamingo patterned tights and jewellery.
The print works best on simple shapes such as shift dresses or tea dresses. It also works in either monochrome, brights or muted colours, so the style can be adapted to any occasion.
The high street has quickly caught on to this trend with Oasis, Therapy and Paul & Joe Sister all stacking their rails with bird inspired designs.
So ditch the pretty floral designs and go for bird prints to keep one step ahead in the style stakes.
