The sale season is truly in swing now so you want to take advantage but dressing appropriately for sale shopping is the key to success.
Shops are at their most packed during sale times so with temperatures soaring you want to wear loose clothes that will keep you cool, especially if your going to a shopping centre like Bluewater, the Trafford Centre or the Metro Centre.
If you have to wear a coat take a light one that you can keep taking on and off when you go into shops. A long T-shirt or shift dress and leggings is perfect. Don't wear tight, skinny jeans. You will regret it.
With most shops not offering refunds on sale items, trying clothes on is essential. This is where wearing loose clothes is essential again. You don't want to be messing around taking off layers in changing room after changing room.
You might even want to take a selection of bras with you so that you can ensure a dress or top sits right with certain bras on.
Taking a big canvas bag to put all of your purchase in is wise as if you are carrying lots of bags it's easy to drop one somewhere along the way.
Flat shoes are essential for a shopping trip if you want to make any progress. You don't want to be struggling with throbbing feet while fighting for the last pair of jeans in your size. And keep accessories to a minimum too, it will only hinder your progress while you're trying things on.
Happy Shopping!
