Star stylist Patricia Field's tips for starsign hoarders
Much as we try to deny it, when it comes to our wardrobes, we are a nation of hoarders and it would appear our starsigns hold the key to our hoarding habits!
Conflicting figures revealed in a new survey by Lenor Infusions found that despite 91% saying that they have clothes in their closet which have been unworn for more than two years, only 46% of us admit to hoarding clothes.
According to the results Sagittarians (52%) are the only sign to admit that they are guilty of hoarding their clothes. Gemini's are true to their split personality, with 40% admitting that they too keep clothes unnecessarily while 60% say that they don't.
35% of Virgo's admit that they have clothes in their wardrobes that they have not worn for 4-5 years while only 20% of Capricorn's forget about some of their clothes lost to the back of the wardrobe for years and years.
Starsigns may tell us secret things about ourselves, but it would seem that age plays a big part when it comes to keeping our clothes.
The national average says that almost half of us will have clothes in our wardrobes for more than 4 years without wearing them. 40 and 50 year-old are more likely to hoard clothes than those in their twenties.
T shirts, shirts, jumpers and skirts are among the items that are hoarded the most but some people even admitted to hoarding underwear and socks.
