Remember when you thought the Spice Girls were the height of sophisticated fashion, and nothing could ever persuade you otherwise?
Yes, us too, but clearly we were misguided back in our youth and actually thought that skin-tight leopard print, chavvy tracksuits and mini-skirts were the best things since sliced bread.

Although, while Posh refused to wear anything other than high heels during her Spice Girls career, when she first moved to LA she showed off a pair of trainers with a wedge on them. Yes, honestly.
To pitch a ball at the Dodgers game, our Victoria couldn't face the prospect of wearing flat shoes, so took some inspiration from her former band mates and dug out the platform trainers instead.
They didn't exactly go down well, indicating that perhaps we will never be ready for the fashionable return of platform trainers. We can but hope...
