Animal prints are big news this season but not in the traditional way. Black white and beige prints are out and blue green and orange were in on the catwalks at DKNY, Matthew Williamson and Christopher Kane.
It doesn't sound like the easiest trend to wear but Kane covered his models up with pretty multi coloured leopard print cardigans over elaborate scalloped dresses.
The simple cardigans can be worn over block coloured pieces or if you're feeling brave you could use them to try the pattern clash trend that is still going strong.
We might not be rich or famous enough to splash out on Christopher's multicoloured lovelies, the sweaters retail at £695 and the cardigans a whopping £895 (and they've even sold out!) But luckily for us New Look have come up with the goods.
Their cute cardies cost a credit crunch friendly £32 and come in orange and yellow or green and yellow. They also have a colourful sequin embellished collar. They are perfect for keeping warm while we wait for the summer weather to appear.
