They're like a bad smell that refuses to go away and for yet another season, harem pants are back at the top of the fashion hot list.
Now it's not like they're hideous or ugly or anything like that, it's more the fact that they just don't look good on anyone!
Ok, you could argue that models on the runway make them look at least a little bit wearable, but other than that even celebrities find them difficult to pull off.
Mischa Barton was one of the first to sample to look a few years ago, and lets just say since that debut, her style has seriously gone down the tubes. Not that there's a connection or anything...
Anyway, Roisin Murphy also gave it a go not so long ago, and managed to look like a parachute in her massive clown pants- and she's supposed to be a style icon in the making too!
Ralph Lauren, DKNY, Jeremy Laing and Yves Saint Laurent all sampled the trend on the runway, but will they ever catch on the high-street?
Well, they are already appearing on shelves in their droves at the minute, so we're guessing the high-street are siding with the catwalk this summer, but the question is- will you buy them?
