Whether it's natural such or dyed, there are so many celebs and us normal folk alike that are going for the vibrant look in search of a little summer and sending out the message of feisty fashion and strong, sex appeal.
Whether you're sporting Amy Adams lushious locks or a Nicola Roberts bob, did you know that there are some colours that work better than others in showing off your do?
We have some handy hints for making the most of your exciting tones and give you some ideas as to which colours you should be befriending and others you should be avoiding.
Although black is a slimmer it also has the power to drain colour. This is true for complexion and hair. If you are a fan of black and still wanting to sport your red to, then try to avoid wearing tops or dresses that come close to your face as this will offset your hair tones.
Stick to a black skirt or trousers to add a touch of class to a look or go for dresses across the bust to put some skin between your face, hair and the colour.
Perfect for this season, neutral tones are great for red haired gals as it shows the best of all the tones in your do. Stick to summery cotton dresses and some nude shades in playsuits, skirts and lacey dresses and you're on trend and complimenting your hair.
If you are a fan of colour then the trick is to accessorise with it. Rather than having a lot of block colours that may not suit your hair style (oranges and pinks) go for some well chosen bling to keep up with the trend without clashing with the hair.
For darker shades of red like Julia Roberts, going for a rich purple and emerald green make for great choices as autumn approaches. Amy Adams looked amazing in her green number on the red carpet last year and there is no reason why you too can't stand out with class in something similar.
