When we hear the word perforation we think of tear off paper towels not a fashion term but that could all be about to change thanks to the likes of Pucci, Chanel, and Fendi.
The cut out detailing was all over spring/summer catwalks on skirts, tops and dresses. The series of holes look like thy have been punched through the fabric to make a tear off effect.
The best thing about this simple yet classy effect is that it works on anything, dresses, skirts, bags or shoes.
If you are not a fan of the cut-out look then different coloured stitching on clothes can have the same effect if it is done in straight, even lines.
If it looks like it could have been made out of paper towels you're on the right track!
