Back in January we told you how hot pink was going to be the colour of the season but now thanks to celebrities such as Freida Pinto, Thandie Newton and Katy Perry, hot pinks paler sister, blush pink looks set to take over as shade of the moment.
The soft colour, which appeared on the Stella McCartney and Moschino catwalks, works well on all complexions, emphasising tans on darker skin tones and giving a romantic feel to paler girls.
Freida proved you can wear pale pink full length and not look like a Barbie in the Oscar de la Renta dress she chose for the Baftas.
Meanwhile Thandie showed how blush pink can be sexy, in her short, draped Blumarine dress.
Believe it or not pale pink can also be edgy, just look at this beaded Tunic by Fendi that Estelle wore to a Grammys party. She teamed it with wet look leggings for a cooler, less girly look.
Pile on gold accessories with your pink to stop it been too girly or a black leather jacket will toughen it up a treat.
If blush pink is a bit too girly for you, you don't need to go for a full on Barbie dress, a touch of accessories in this pale hue is enough to be on trend. Try some pink pumps or a little bag. Or even try and paint it on yourself with pink eyeshadow and nail varnish for an even more subtle look.
Remember girls pink makes the boys wink so get blushing!
