Project Runway Christian Siriano presented a beautiful collection of luxurious pieces and rich colours for his autumn/winter 09 show at New York Fashion Week.
The range used lots of brown in sand shades and coffee colours with a pop of colour in bright turqouise. There was a lot of metallic pieces, on waistcoats, shirts, trousers, suits and dresses.
There was lots of draped and folded fabric creating shape and detail. Tulip shaped skirts and coats also created volumous shape.
Models wore hats of folded fabric in medieval styles, or clip in metal fringes, looks that we're not sure will transpire well on the high street.
Siriano showed one spectacular dress decorated in 3D flowers from the hem to the one shoulder. We can't wait to see which celebrity gets their hands on that!
