We've noticed a bit of a theme so far this week amongst designers- they're all showing their dark side this season, and Tony Cohen is no exception as he delivered an intricate collection of dark and glossy fashion.
Cohen's look for autumn/winter was slick, undoubtedly as he sent out tailored piece after tailored piece, keeping the rest of his vision simple and unhampered with accessories.
That said, it was a bit hard to get excited about this collection, despite the appeal of a few flashes of colour thrown in to break up the endless selection of black.
Fuchsia pink billowing tunics teamed with off-white tights was a nice touch to his range, while his asymmetric offerings teamed with boots was also pretty cool and livened up what could have been a dull black dress.
It also appears as though we may have to eat our words too, as no sooner had we declared the death of wet look leggings yesterday, then they show up in three other collections- including Cohen's.
Teamed with black jumpers and high-collared coats, they were given a new lease of life through Cohen and we may be falling back in love with them once again!
We loved the cobweb and graffiti splattered tunics and dresses- they were without a doubt a highlight, as last season we don't think they were given nearly enough credit on the runway.
The use of light pink tights teamed with Biker boots and flowing black dresses was a nice contrast, but it did have an air of familiarity about it from last season's dark romance trend.
Graphic neon prints, which were almost tribal made an appearance towards the end of the collection, while he completed his vision for autumn/winter with a light sprinkling of sequins pinned to sheer fabrics.
