After been invited to show his collections in Paris, the pressure was on Osman Yousefzada to show a great collection at London Fashion Week and he lived up to expectations.
His autumn/winter 09 collection was like a snowy wonderland with models wearing crisp white, grey and icy blue pieces, accentuated occasionally with sparkles.
The pieces included a white all in one, high waisted skirts, polo neck dresses, smock dresses and cropped peg trousers all in icy hues. Some of the tops had a glamorous feel to them with sparkle detail on the bust.
Osman used flares traditionally, on trousers, and in a new way flaring the hems of tops. He used a similar trick with pleats, showcasing the technique on skirts and also neck detail.
Sunglasses wearing models covered up with long skirted coats in cold colours and bubble coats with rounded hems.
Their feet were encased in, like Peter Pilotto, what looked like suede clogs but with a super high platform heel.
Things took a darker turn towards the last of the pieces as black item showed, including draped dresses and an all in one.
Paris watch out, Osman Yousefzada is going to blow your socks off.
