London Fashion Week went back to school with Vivienne Westwood Red Label's autumn/winter collection as models sashayed down the catwalk in striped skirts and blazers.
The star of the show, after Vivienne, was Jo Wood who took on the role of teacher with one of her outfits, a three piece grey checked suit worn with a blue and red graduation style gown over the top.
Dame Vivienne certainly didn't stick to a traditional dark wintery colour palette using lots of colour, particularly reds and oranges. She wasn't afraid to clash colours teaming a orange and green checked jacket with blue and yellow checked trousers, finished with a red and beige harlequin print bag.
Vivienne was also keen to use lots of pattern with checked fabrics in a variety of colours been used for dresses, skirts, jackets and trousers.
As well as long winter coats Vivienne included cute capes with big flowers embroidered on them, perfect for keeping warm in formal dress. The winter warmer pieces included cosy knitted jumpers and cardigans and sexy trench coats.

There were also cute hat scarves and mittens with colourful snowflake patterns.
The collection had a touch of English equestrianism about it with models accessorising with riding hats and boots.
The dresses used either draped fabric to create shape or accentuated the models's natural shapes with bustier style dresses, very Victoria Beckham.
The collection was what we know and love from Vivienne, eccentricity at it's best.
