The spotlight will fall on London Fashion Week tomorrow as New York comes to a close and the fashion pack head over to British shores. With designers like House of Holland, Christopher Kane and Luella showing it's bound to be a style extravaganza.

Opening proceedings at 10 am is Paul Costello. Costello, who has been showing at LFW for 15 years, says he has been inspired for autumn/winter 2009 by, 'Hunger, opportunity and commercial chic'. We can expect unique pieces with high quality tailoring in contemporary, classical shapes.

Following Costello is Caroline Charles. We can expect lots of colour from her and modern shapes. Charles has taken inspiration from Byzantium, court dress and Renaissance.

Next up is estethica event, a  collection of fifteen eco friendly designers including Anatomy and Article 23.

Noir / Bllack Noir is next and is bound to show some masculine inspired pieces as Danish designer Peter Ingwersen describes his design signature as: "Juxtaposing masculine expressions with the feminine."

Eun Jeong is next at 14.15. We can expect to see lots of draping and tailored pieces from the Korean designer. She says her influences for AW09 are black vanity, vestige and vanguard vice.

Sequin king Ashish follows Jeong. With a big celeb following including Lady GaGa and VV Brown, this is our must-see show of the day. There will of course be lots of sparkle as designer Ashish Gupta says his signature is "Sequins, glamour, sportswear and more sequins." It will be a fun collection  as Gupta says his inspiration for it was Depression era carnivals, the American Wild West and Liberace."

Closing the first day will be a collection from Central Saint Martins MA students. Previous student include Jonathan Saunders, Christopher Kane and Danielle Scutt so there should be some ones to watch for the future.
