In a recent survey, online fashion broker ChampagneAndLemonade.com found that three quarters of British women plan to buy new clothing this Christmas - yet surprisingly, nearly half of them have not decided on what their perfect party attire will be.
This uncertainty usually leads to a last minute panic purchase and the ‘safe’ option of the Little Black Dress. Nearly two thirds of those surveyed stated they would probably opt for the LBD for their Christmas party. However, there are many other options available to add style and individuality to party outfits this Christmas. Here are a few handy tips on how on to look gorgeous:
Celebrate brights Why not get in the Christmasspirit and wear something red to your office party? Sanguine tones can be sultry and very sexy and will certainly ensure that you stand out from the crowd.
Add a touch of sparkle Embellishment is a key trendthis season and this Christmas. The key is not to over do it! If you opt for a glitter dress, make sure to keep to neutral accessories.
Accessorise Well-placed jewellery can make, or break, your look. A pair of sky-high heels will lengthen your legs - but if you are going to be doing a lot of standing, or dancing, go for a high platform heel - to save your feet from agonising pain! An oversized clutch will also give you plenty of room for make-up and of course a pair of flats.
Create a unique look Add a little vintage, coordinate or even clash your colours. Do something a little daring and make your colleagues remember your spectacular ensemble – for all of the right reasons.
