Topshop Dress (£20.00)

Topshop Dress (£20.00)

We’re all a bit strapped for cash this Christmas and most certainly will be by the time New Year comes around, but that’s no reason why your wardrobe should be missing the all-important Little Black Dress.

It’s a classic item of clothing that every woman should have at least one of, especially during the festive season when there are parties happening left, right and centre.

We’ve compiled a list then of five different LBDs which are all available for under £30, so there's no excuse for not going out to buy one!

Long sleeves

This Dorothy Perkin’s dress is perfect if you want to cover your arms but don’t want to take a cardigan or jacket out with you. The jewelling round the neckline also saves you the stress of trying to pick out a necklace to wear with it. (£29.50)

Cropped sleeves

H&M’s dress is a great choice if you just want to cover your shoulders and not your arms completely. (£12.99)

Strapless

If you’re feeling confident and want to bare a little bit more, then the strapless dress is always an option. This one from ASOS has a pleated design which not only gives it that edge, but helps to hide any underwear lines and distracts attention away from 'problem areas'. (£28.00)

60s style

You could wear this plane tunic dress from H&M on it's own, however it would look great with coloured tights and/or accessories. (£6.99 reduced from £12.99)

The “Fit and Flare Tunic

Topshop’s dress is perfect if you want to keep it casual or dress things up. It’s designed to go in at the waist and flare at the bottom, meaning your middle appears more trimmed and your legs look that little bit slimmer. (£20.00)
