Faye West's Clown Girl Tee, £40 at Topshop
Faye West is the latest artist to create a t-shirt for Topshop, with her Clown Girl Tee that was inspired by Courtney Love, Vogue reports.
The Hole singer is Faye's icon. She believes that Courtney epitomises modern femininity as she is confident and creative when it comes to her style.
Faye told Vogue.com: "I really love the fact that women don't feel the need to tone down their prettiness in order to be taken seriously these days."
"They're not ashamed to be out there with their creativity, their make-up and their fashion - it doesn't mean they're superficial, or fake. I love that a woman doesn't have to be natural to show she means business."
The £40 Clown Girl top was commissioned after Topshop bosses saw the picture of a made up Courtney in Faye's portfolio.
Topshop began their range of t-shirts featuring original designs from artists back in August and has featured artists including Harry Malt, Sarah Howell and Pomme Chan.
