Kate Moss has become a brand.
The 33 year old supermodel has designed a logo for her commercial projects.
The style icons new collection for Topshop launches on May 1st across the UK and she was keen to protect her brand identity. Graphic designer and art director Peter Saville was approached by Moss to create Fifties-style typeface bearing her name.
Saville told WWD:" "From Kate's point of view, it's her graphic identity - it's a very nice bit of lettering. "
"Logically, Kate and Storm Models realised there had to be some coherence between the Kate Moss logo and the Kate Moss brand."
"We presented her with a dozen possibilities, and [she] agreed immediately on the best one. She was able to spot it for herself."
The logo will also appear on her new fragrance which will be launched by Coty later in the year.
