If you're having withdrawal symptoms after New York, London, Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks have ended, fear not as Motorola Dublin Fashion Week is just around the corner.
Fashion eyes will turn to the Irish Capital when the event, now in it's 8th season, kicks off on Monday.
In the past international designers have shown at the event, including Matthew Williamson who had not shown outside New York in five years until he went to Dublin.
One of the biggest names at the event is Dublin born Paul Costelloe. Paul's elegant tailored pieces have been a success with the Ryder Cup WAGS knocking socks off football WAGS with their stylish Costelloe outfits. His Ready to Wear collection enjoys great success too with a signature style of classic and sophisticated pieces.
Zoe Boomer will also show in Dublin after her hijack of London Fashion Week. The designer, who launched her label in 2006, took her designs to the streets of London during Fashion Week for four guerilla-style fashion shows in some of the cities richest addresses.
Danish label Gróa adds some international style with their edgy, contemporary yet feminine designs.
Richard Lewis will show his late day and evening wear. He is known for his use of soft fluid lines and his signature fabric, matt jersey, a fabric he has been using since commencing in couture.
Laura Guidi at Motorola Dublin Fashion Week
Laura Guidi, another international name, will bring to Dublin her collection, synonymous with quality tailoring and luxury detail. She will show her cocktail wear, evening wear and executive suit collections.
We can expect good things from another Irish designer Sinéad Doyle. She was previously selected as one of the top fashion designers under 25 in the UK by Noisefestival.
Also showing is Rachel Mackay whose sensual fabrics offer relaxed femininity and flatter the female silhouette with a non-obvious approach to design and a surprise element providing each piece with a vivid talking point.
Irish Designer Joanne Hynes will bring her unique style to Dublin. She creates powerful individual pieces each season within a range that is known for its ambition and diversity. Her work can be described as modern elegance with an edge.
Also showing are Avoca Anthology, Lainey Keogh, Heather Finn, Momuse.
The event is also expected to draw in some big names, Rihanna was seen snapping up some great pieces in Dublin recently.
Let's hope that Dublin will unearth some new talents to us that we have not yet discovered!
