In her ITV2 show, Coleen Rooney searched for real women to challenge the models and compete for some top brands's advertising campaigns. One of these brands was Schwarzkopf who wanted new faces for their Supersoft Smoothies ‘Be Yourself’ campaign.

As the second series of Coleen's Real Women prepares to hit our screens, we catch up with one of the winners from the first series. So has 26 year old Donna Pollit’s life changed since being spotted by Coleen and the Supersoft judges on the show?

"The day Coleen asked me to be part of her show was so surreal. One minute I was shopping with my mum and the next I had Coleen coming towards me with her camera crew in tow, asking me if I would audition to be a model for Schwarzkopf’s Supersoft Smoothies range!

"The audition process itself was great fun, but nerve-wracking as I’d never done anything like that before. Coleen was great at putting everyone at ease. She chatted to all the finalists, giving them tips and even swapping beauty advice, she was really down-to-earth.

"When Schwarzkopf actually selected me to be their ‘Career Chick’ and the face of the Supersoft Yoghurt & Peach Smoothie shampoo and conditioner, I couldn’t believe it. I was a primary school teacher and now I was being asked to take part in a national advertising campaign! I would be one of the faces of a huge brand alongside ‘Active Babe’ Hayley, who was selected at the same times as the face of the Yoghurt & Coconut Smoothie shampoo and conditioner. We both couldn’t believe our luck!

"So far, fronting the ‘Be Yourself’ campaign has been amazing. I feel like I’ve been leading a double life switching from teaching in the classroom to taking part in fantastic photoshoots and interviews. It’s such a strange feeling seeing my face in some of my favourite magazines, and I’m still being recognised by people in the street now.

"The remaining faces of Supersoft Smoothies have just been selected. They will join Hayley and I in fronting the campaign. Judith Katz a real ‘Yummy Mummy’ will be the face of the Supersoft Lime variant, whilst Karla ‘Trendsetter’ Zapolski is the face of the Red Berries Smoothie for coloured hair. I know how they must be feeling - I was ecstatic when I won!

"I haven’t had a chance to meet Jude or Karla yet but my advice for them is to relax and enjoy the ride ahead. It is a bit of a whirlwind but I’ve been having so much fun, I know they will too.

"So what’s next for me? Well, I’m not quite ready to give up my day job for full-time modelling, I love teaching too much for that, but I’m thrilled to be involved in the remainder of the campaign so keep an eye out for me. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity so I’m definitely going to make the most of it!"
