Balmain SS09

Balmain SS09

We revealed last week how celebrities are falling in love with Balmain's spring/summer collection this year, so today we thought it was time to show you how to get the look on the high-street.

Taking two of Balmain's key looks for this season, we've charted their appearance on celebrities and found some similar high-street copies for you to style.

Balmain's distressed denim jeans have caused some controversy recently over their price, but despite that they have been flying off the shelves in the UK.

Priced at over £1,000 a pair, Lindsay Lohan, Heidi Klum and Kate Moss are said to be huge fans of the label, and with celeb endorsement like that no wonder they're popular.

Balmain's other SS09 gem has to be their sequined green mini-dress, complete with 80s shoulder pads and studded shoes. Jennifer Connelly looked like she had stepped straight off the catwalk last week, as she rocked the whole look to perfection.

We've struggled to find a direct copy of her look on the high-street, but have managed to find a similar dress and design to the one she wore. Sequins are set to be big news this summer once again, so consider it a stylish investment buy.

Admittedly, our dress isn't green, but it is very similar in style and won't set you back a huge amount of money. Wear with tights and heels while the weather is still a bit chilly, and glam it up with bare legs and fake tan when we hit spring. Studded Flapper Dress, £79, Oli

We haven't papped any celebs in these particular stylish jeans yet, but both Blake Lively and Jessica Szohr from Gossip Girl are rumoured to be big fans of the label, however. Here's two stylish offerings from the high-street, which will definitely cost lest than £1,000! Faded Jeans, £40, Topshop; White Buttoned Jeans, £25, New Look
